We know that our clients have high expectations of us and we strive never to take our clients for granted. Over the years, we have enjoyed an outstanding amount of repeat business from our clients as we endeavor to make them clients for life.

We ask ourselves "What makes us different from any other auto repair shop?" In any business transaction or advertisement for an auto repair company, one often hears the normal catch phrases such as "quality auto repair," "great customer service," "great workmanship," "on-time delivery," and a host of other positive attributes. We would not expect less from any viable auto repair company if they expect to last in this business. So, what is it that makes us uniquely different? Eric Sevim started A Plus Japanese Auto Repair in 2001 with his brother Adam. They have since increased the success of A+ Japanese Auto Repair, Inc. by continuing to maintain great relationships with our clients and by providing the best auto repair on the peninsula. Eric remains a strong leader in our community by actively participating, volunteering and donating to local events and programs. We call him Superman because he does everything! When he finally does take off all of those hats, he can be found skiing, bike riding, running, at a concert or with family and friends.

Rob Lucas, Senior Service Consultant (aka

Rob Lucas, Senior Service Consultant (aka "Batman")

Specializing in: Exceptional client education, support, and satisfaction. Honda Repair, Acura Repair, Toyota Repair, Lexus Repair, Nissan Repair, Infiniti Repair, Subaru Repair, Mazda Repair, Mitsubishi Repair, Hybrids & more.

Rob began his career as the best Senior Service Consultant at A+ Japanese Auto Repair, in 2005. He has since created lifelong relationships with our clients. Rob has expert knowledge on all Japanese automotive makes and models. He easily explains complicated automotive systems and auto repair procedures to clients. Well known (and liked!) throughout the community, he is a wonderful part of our team. He is an ASE Certified Technician and has over 30 years' experience in the automotive repair industry. This knowledge and expertise helps him educate our clients when explaining our services, so they can make the best decision for their auto repairs. Rob and his team help our clients protect their investment. In 2011, he cruised on Route 66 in his '64 Ford Galaxy 500 XL with his girls. Eric joined our team in 2011. Since that time he has been Rob's (batman) sidekick... that's why he choose his alternate ego Robin. The perfect Duo... Eric brings over 20 years' experience in the automotive industry as a technician and has been writing service for more than 10 years. Each day Eric shares his experience and automotive knowledge with our clients to help them make informed auto repair decisions. On the weekends Eric likes to play Golf and/or Softball. Since turning 40 Eric has won 4 world series rings in Senior softball. Eric also enjoys coaching High School aged baseball. When there is time Eric enjoys long walks on the beach at Sunset.

Adam Sevim started A Plus Japanese Auto Repair in 2001 with his brother Eric. Adam has experienced first hand some of the industries real issues outside his business through his involvement with automotive service councils (ASC) and automotive service association (ASA) and through his commitment to better our industry has dedicated himself to providing the highest level of automotive repair and service. This commitment has made A Plus Japanese Auto Repair a leader in the independent auto repair shop business. Adam and Eric have since increased the success of A+ Japanese Auto Repair, Inc. by continuing to maintain great relationships with clients and by providing the best auto repair on the peninsula. Adam. We call him the "Green Hornet" because he is always fabricating and attaching something new to one of the vehicles in his fleet of expedition Landcruisers. Are those really missile launchers? Are they necessary? When he is enjoying his free time, he can be found mountain biking, giant slalom skiing, crossing the Mojave desert or death valley in a Landcruiser, at or hanging out with family and friends.

Specializing in: Subaru Repair, Mazda Repair, Toyota Repair and Mitsubishi Repair. ASE Master Certification. Diagnostic Technician.

Since the 1970's Keith has been earning automotive certifications and increasing his knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance. He holds nine ASE Certifications, is a ASE Certified Master Technician and also has his smog license (A+ does not perform smog checks). He has been with A+ Japanese Auto Repair for many years and offers a plethora of knowledge to his coworkers. ASE Certifications: Engine Repair, Automatic Transmissions/Transaxle, Manual Drive Train and Axles, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Heating and Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Automobile Advanced Engine Performance.

Quin Ordonez, ASE Certified Technician (aka

Quin Ordonez, ASE Certified Technician (aka "The Incredible Hulk")

Specializing in: Honda Repair, Acura Repair, Toyota Repair, Lexus Repair and hybrids. Quin is an ASE Certified Auto Repair Technician holding 4 ASE Certifications

Quin holds four ASE Auto Repair Technician Certifications and has been one of our Japanese vehicle specialists for the past four of his 12 years in the automotive industry. He takes pride in his work and is committed to providing complete diagnosis and auto repair for our clients. Quin also specializes on converting the Toyota Prius to a plug in with the Hymotion battery. When he is not at A+, Quin can usually be found listening to 80's disco music while doing something creative such as customizing his tricked out Honda Civic with some electrical madness. He can take just about anything apart and put it back together, better than before. ASE Certification: Suspension and Steering, and Brakes.

Rory has been an ASE Certified Automotive Technician since 1979 - that’s 31 years! He has nine ASE certifications. Each day at A+ Japanese Auto Repair, Rory provides the highest level of auto maintenance and auto repair. When he is not working, you will find the Shark at the Shark’s Tank in San Jose or whipping up something yummy (he is a GREAT chef)! ASE Certifications: Engine Repair, Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Manual Drive Train and Axles, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Heating and Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Automobile Advanced Engine Performance.

Victor began his automotive career in 1992 with a commitment of providing high quality auto repair on each job regardless of how big or small. He has been providing the highest quality of automotive repair and maintenance for A+ clients since 2008. Speed Racer has a passion for fast cars. If a 2003 Mustang Cobra happened to be parked in his garage when he returned home, he would be just fine with that.
