Work performed included diagnosing a check engine light, proposing a repair and executing the repair. 97 Toyota 4runner. The shop was very accommodating to a limited schedule, allowing multiple drop-offs and pick-ups over a couple of weekends to complete the work. This ability to work with the customer is invaluable, and one of the reasons I will certainly return to A+ for future work. Bringing the car in on several occasions for one fix did cause one issue which I was not pleased with. A weekend mechanic did not get the correct information for the repair, and did not complete the repair which caused a return to the shop that lasted 4 days over another weekend. In the end, the repair was made correct. Price was very fair. Additionally, when the car was returned to me, it was washed, tires cleaned, interior cleaned, carpet cleaned. Thanks A+

Had a big trip last weekend down to Santa Barbara, and I knew I had been delaying my oil change too long to go without one, so I tried to find a quick place to get an oil change before I left on Friday. Rob hooked me up! Got me in and out all in an afternoon; even had someone pick me up at work when it was all finished.

The contracted work was done in a very timely manner. The staff was very professional.

Great professional service. I've been taking my car here for years and always get my car fixed in a timely manner without having to come back to fix something else (*cough* Honda repair shops). And a big shout out to Justin! He is always very courteous, professional, and takes wonderful care of me :)I'm taking off one star for the prices. Yes, I understand that most auto repair shops charge an arm and a leg for their services. I just I wish A+ JAR wasn't one of them...

Let's start by saying they care, I know the entire staff and would have to say. I give my stars to the real stars! The technicians I read all these reviews and they go on and on about how great the service writer is or was. Let me clue all of you yelpers in on something those guys rant the ones you want to give your praise to. If your truly satisfied with your experience. Ask for the name of the real miracle worker who poured his heart and soul into making your vehicle perform at it's best. Those are the guys who go home and think about your vehicle who stress over being efficient,giving proper diagnosis, and performing your vehicles repairs correctly the first time on time!! And all I ever read about is how great these ignorant service advisers are. Those guys are puppets reading you what the real source of your great experience has written. So remember ask who worked on your vehicle so you can give them your praise and request their great service in the future!!

I had to pick up my car after hours, and the lock combination wasn't what they said it would be (I did it multiple times, and they said it would be the last 4 numbers of a document number...I also had my friend try it). As a result, I had to commute for 2 hours the next day. They tried to make it up by delivering my car to me at the caltrain station and I can see that the outside of my car was washed (i'm not sure if that's a standard thing that they do here). I had a suspicion they might have forgotten when I heard a message on my phone after my meetings ended that said I needed to call them for a pick up, which wasn't the arrangement I had discussed with someone before. Overall, Rob was really nice and gave me the 25 dollar discount without purchasing it on yelp. As far as I know, the car is good :) Rob was also very calm when I was clearly dissatisfied with the fact that I had to commute for 2 hours the next day.

Service performed late Feb 2014 - Reviewing after a few months to make sure nothing went wrong from service. Everything is perfect and I'm super satisfied with this shop. I bought a used Toyota truck off of craigslist and of course there were some issues. I brought it to Toyota 101 for a checkup and the repair estimate was scary. I went for a second opinion at A+ and they found the same issues (good confirmation that both shops know what they are doing), but the repair cost was much more reasonable even though they use genuine Toyota parts just like the dealer. A+ even installed a part I provided to help me save some money. I've got a Toyota sedan that still goes to Toyota 101 because I have the prepaid service, but when that expires I'll be bringing that car to A+ as well. Repair performed May 2014 - Took the truck in for another issue unrelated to the prior service. Rob stayed late, put extra guys on it, and even worked with me on the numbers to get my Tacoma back on the road. These guys put customer satisfaction first, no doubt about it. Thanks Rob!
