Precise alignments that protect your tires and steering.

A pothole, a curb or just thousands of miles can knock your wheels out of alignment. Even a small change wears tires on one edge, makes the car pull and costs you fuel economy. We recommend an alignment check when you buy new tires, after suspension or steering repairs, after a hard hit to a curb or pothole, or about once a year. Get one sooner if your car drifts on a straight road, the steering wheel sits crooked, or your tires show wear on the inside or outside edge.

We measure camber, caster and toe on all four wheels and adjust them to your manufacturer's specs. We share the before-and-after readings so you can see exactly what changed. If something is bent or worn, like a tie rod end or control arm bushing, the alignment will not hold. We check for that first and let you know before we adjust anything.

Frequently asked questions

  • How often should I get a wheel alignment?

We suggest an alignment check about once a year, whenever you get new tires and after any steering or suspension repair. Get one sooner if the car pulls or the steering wheel is off-center.

  • Can a pothole knock my car out of alignment?

Yes. A hard hit to a pothole or curb can shift your alignment or bend a suspension part. If the car drives differently afterward, have it checked.

  • What is the difference between alignment and balancing?

Alignment sets the angles of your wheels so the car tracks straight. Balancing adds small weights so each tire spins smoothly without vibration. Both protect your tires, and they fix different problems.

A+ has been my auto repair shop for the last 5 years. They have an outstanding crew that are always very professional and thorough in assessing the car, identifying issues, and fixing them right the first time. If you have japanese car this is the #1 shop.

This is my first time going to A+ Japanese Auto Repair and I plan to return for other car repair/maintenance services. I appreciate the total transparency and honesty. The complementary ride to and from the shop is extremely helpful. As a bonus they have loyal rewards program and all work is backed by a warranty which they explain what it is. The staff is friendly and answer questions that you have.

Took my 19 year old Tacoma to A+ Japanese Auto based on the reviews. I knew it needed a 150K service, and they suggested an inspection along with an oil change so they could determine what services were needed. The front office staff was exceptional from the time I made my appointment, arrived to the shop, and discussed the recommended repairs. The technicians took detailed photos shown me by my service provider. She explained all of the details regarding the repairs necessay and helped categorize the repairs based on safety. I was very impressed with this level of service, and highly recommend this business.
