Will servicing my new Toyota at A+ Auto Repair void my warranty?
No. Federal law, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, lets you have your Toyota maintained at any qualified shop without affecting your factory warranty. What matters is that the work follows Toyota's maintenance schedule and specs and that you keep records, and we give you a detailed record of every service.
What kind of parts do you use on Toyotas?
We use genuine Toyota parts or OE-quality parts from the same companies that build parts for Toyota. We match every part to your vehicle's exact specifications, from oil grade to brake pads. If you prefer genuine Toyota parts for a repair, just ask and we will quote them.
How long will my repair take?
Most routine maintenance, like an oil change, tire rotation or brake inspection, is done the same day, often within a couple of hours.
Larger repairs such as a timing belt, transmission work or engine diagnostics can take one to several days, depending on the job and parts availability. Took my 19 year old Tacoma to A+ Japanese Auto based on the reviews. I knew it needed a 150K service, and they suggested an inspection along with an oil change so they could determine what services were needed. Family owned since 1997
The founder of A+ came to the United States from Turkey and started out as a bicycle mechanic, then spent years as a head technician at a dealership. In 1997, in his mid-40s, he opened A+ Japanese Auto Repair in San Carlos. It was a family affair from the first day.
